What you’ll learn: The 9 Maxims and how they guide everyday decisions at HFC Roles, responsibilities, and who to reach out to for what Professional conduct, communication norms, and teamwork expectations Confidentiality, consent, and respectful engagement with senior citizens Event/activity do’s and don’ts, safety basics, and escalation steps Reporting, documentation, and common internship workflows Who it’s for: New interns, returning interns, and student volunteers who want a clear, shared understanding of how HFC works. Outcome: Finish the program feeling confident about expectations, boundaries, and how to contribute from day one.
